About TMJ and Sleep Disorders of Michigan

Welcome to our practice, where we specialize in the treatment of craniofacial pain (TMJ disorders) and sleep-breathing related disorders (sleep apnea & snoring). We believe that with proper evaluation and diagnosis, these conditions can be successfully and predictably treated with non-surgical therapy options for both adults and children. Our Doctors have been treating and helping patients with their sleep and temporomandibular joint disorders for over 25 combined years. Dr. Jerry and his daughter Dr. Allyson began noticing an overwhelming number of people in need of treatment to reduce & eliminate a growing epidemic of people suffering with craniofacial pain, headaches and sleep problems.

I can’t recommend this office enough! I suffered from severe TMJ, failed sleep studies, snoring and jaw pain. Dr. Mulder and staff go above and beyond to find the best possible outcome for you! I am sleeping all night without having to use a C-pap machine, no snoring and my jaw pain has disappeared. I would highly recommend this office if you are looking for relief!!

This company has completely changed my life. I struggled with jaw pain, limited mouth opening, headaches, and constant discomfort for about four years. Before coming here, I tried everything I could think of chiropractic care, a custom mouth guard from my dentist, dry needling, and physical therapy but nothing gave me lasting relief. The moment I scheduled my consultation, I finally felt hopeful that my TMJ issues could actually be treated, and that hope turned out to be well placed. After about six months of treatment, my jaw's range of motion is almost completely back to normal. I can eat burgers without struggling, and I no longer have to deal with daily tension headaches. I truly can't recommend this place enough. Investing in your health is one of the best decisions you can make, and this team has been worth every bit of it. Thank you for giving me my quality of life back!

I experienced TMJ related pain for over 10 years. I had weekly migraines that lasted for days, constant jaw pain, locking and popping, and I could barely open my mouth wide enough to eat. I finally decided to look for treatment, and WOW I wish I hadn't waited so long. I was super impressed by how thorough the initial examination was. The testing and imaging done showed me the extent of the damage in my jaw, and validated the pain I was in all the time. It was honestly crazy to see the difference between normal jaw function and mine. My treatment plan involved wearing day and night appliances 24/7. It was definitely an adjustment, but I started noticing a difference after a few weeks, and was feeling less pain. I wore my appliances for about 3 months before weaning off the daytime appliance. I just wear the nighttime one now! I just had my 6 month check in today. When I started treatment I was only able to open my mouth to 25.9mm, and today I was at 44mm. My migraines have almost disappeared, I'm sleeping so much better, and I can eat a burger again. Every check-up and visit here through the treatment process was such a positive experience. The staff are so kind and make you fee

Dr. Jerry and his team are amazing!! Truly changed my life. I didn’t think I would ever be without jaw pain. I had tried so many other treatments with no success and thought the constant jaw pain, headaches, neck/shoulder pain and poor sleep were things I would always have to deal with. After 6 months of treatment with Dr. Jerry, I am completely pain free! I can’t thank him and his team enough. All of the lovely ladies there went out of their way to make me feel cared for. They cheered me on the whole time and made me feel like family! Thank you guys a million!!!

Dr Jerry and his team are highly effective, helpful, and friendly. Fixed my TMJ which I didn't think possible without surgery and they have me on a plan for maintenance to keep it working the right way. Fixed my headaches, jaw popping, jaw cramping, and neck tension. I didn't even know they had all been connected. Jennifer and Griffy are good at putting smiles on my kids' faces as well!
